The team in the Digital Ag Innovation Lab is invested in developing industry partnerships designed to reach ag producers with innovations.
The lab specializes in developing technology and products to make agriculture more productive, efficient, and profitable, including:
- Smart sensors and controls
- Precision agriculture
- Machinery electronics and CAN bus technology
- Biomass logistics
In 2024, the Alliant Energy Agriculture Innovation Lab will open in the ISU Research Park, providing more than 85,000 square feet for ISU’s College of Agriculture and Life Science’s Digital Ag Innovation Team and agriculture-based business tenants to access technology, research, and development.
It will pair collaborative office and agricultural workshop space to create a unique work environment in Central Iowa.
