Over the past five years, CIRAS and its partners have reported impact from companies totaling more than $2.8 billion (2.2 billion sales gained or retained, new investments $473 million, costs saved or avoided $143 million) and over 33,900 jobs created or retained as a result of the assistance they received.

In 2024 alone, over 1,700 businesses from all 99 Iowa counties received assistance on projects or attended educational workshops from CIRAS staff or partners. Companies responding to surveys reported a total economic impact of over $291 million.?
