Iowa State Research Park


Located in Ames, just south of the Iowa State University campus, the Iowa State University Research Park is a 550+ acre development with more than 1M square feet of developed space.

The ISU Research Park is hub for connecting tenants, startups and founders with the resources they need to be successful. Whether that is profiting through partnerships from their research, accessing use of university facilities and equipment, workforce solutions and expertise, technology, financing, or recruiting --ISURP provides connections to Iowa State.

ISURP also provides critical services as an innovation community and incubator for new and expanding businesses. The Park assists startup Iowa-based companies develop their potential and nurtures scientific and technological entrepreneurial ventures.

The ISU Research Park mission is focused on providing an environment where established technology-related organizations and science and technology entrepreneurial ventures can develop and prosper in Iowa.

The research park also serves as the hub for all EDIR entities, several ISU Extension units and for our startup ecosystem's accelerators, venture mentoring, and other programming.
