With a student population of more than 36,000, Iowa State University has a deep pool of talent that your
company can access through EDIR. Changing workforce needs and supply and demand can create challenges as
companies prioritize hiring. Our engagement team can work with yours to create strategies across all
colleges to get you in front of the students you want to recruit, earlier. Customized solutions to
access skills gaps like bootcamps and upskill training for existing employees are often prioritized as

goal of demystifying the process of visiting and engaging with Iowa State University and identifying

Community Builders

Philanthropy
Often our partners will invest in philanthropic giving as part of their strategy to connect with talent,
and to help the university meet its goals. Whether that is providing scholarships, partnering on
leadership and entrepreneurship programming, naming spaces and buildings, philanthropy often becomes a
piece of our strategic relationship with our partners. Our EDIR engagement teams partner with the
Corporate Engagement team at the Iowa State Foundation, and the two groups work together to uniquely
create strategies that benefit both our students, learning environments, and our corporate
partners.
